Lok-Yee Lam is a senior at Hunter College and a Thomas Hunter Honors scholar. She is double majoring in Biochemistry and Physiological Psychology. Lok-Yee looks forward to becoming a physician, MD/MBA specializing in child & adolescent psychiatry. She is incredibly passionate about discussing global health issues and mental healthcare, exchanging perspectives on related topics and ethical issues that may often be controversial. She enjoys traveling, photography, hiking, and water-related sports in her free time, like swimming and surfing.

Year-long independent honors research project under the mentorship of Dr. Roseanne Flores in the developmental psychology lab. The literature research and thesis are focused on children and adolescent mental health outcomes and their relationship with environmental factors such as neighborhood environment factors.
