Blog Writer for the Society of Bioethics & Medicine

Undergraduate Researcher at the Wu Lab at Icahn School of Medicine

Utilized the iDisco tissue clearing protocol for mAb immunolabeling and subsequent validation on over 140 mice, 100 human, and 70 marmoset tissues. Validated mAbs provide a means for whole-mount profiling in diverse organs to recognize three-dimensional protein distribution and track changes in neural morphology, associated with diseases such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and Autism. Creating a database of effective and reliable antibodies will help facilitate research on those diseases using a novel robust platform that can be widely adopted.
