Raheem is a Biological Sciences major at the Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College, concentrating on Behavioral Neurobiology and minoring in Chemistry. He serves as the Blog Manager for Hunter College’s Society of Bioethics and Medicine blog and holds the position of Vice President of Outreach and Engagement for Macaulay Peer Mentors. Raheem enjoys addressing divisive issues in science through his writing and keeping first-year mentees informed about the latest Macaulay/NYC events. Currently, he works as a Research Assistant at Weill Cornell Medical College, studying pancreatic cancer tumorigenesis. Beyond his Pre-Medical studies, Raheem enjoys exploring new cafes in NYC, learning about city development, and listening to indie-pop music.
